Tell children they are going to watch a short video about the word rocket. Ask children what they know about rockets.
- Then hold up the word card and ask, What letter does the word rocket begin with?
Play the video Between the Lions “Fred Says: rocket” without pausing.
Then show the video a second time and pause to allow children to point to the letter “Rr.”
