Family Connection: Unit 7, Week 2, #1

Download and print out the Family Connection letter to send home with children. Cut strips of construction paper to make a paper bracelet for each child to wear home. Write the word garden on each one. Read the word aloud to children and encourage them to look for gardens on the way home from school and on their way back to school tomorrow. Invite the class to sing “Good-bye to You.”

Good-bye to You
(sung to the tune of “Happy Birthday”)
Good-bye to you,
Good-bye to you,
Good-bye, friends and classmates,
Good-bye to you.

Together we played.
Together we learned,
And together we’re singing
Good-bye to you!
